Injury Alberta was in attendance at the Injury Action Forum 1 in Ottawa, October
28, 2011. Members of Injury Alberta had an opportunity to present their goals
and discuss strategies for a safer and healthier Alberta with organizations from
across the country. This was a national meeting of key stakeholders involved in
injury control was hosted by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of
Canada, the Trauma Association of Canada, and Safe Communities Canada.
People and organizations across Alberta are becoming increasingly aware of our
injury epidemic. We thank our supporters for helping to kick-start this
movement.
